Youth Conference

Wow, God is so faithful to bring about his promises. The youth conference kicked off with a killer prayer meeting Thursday night, and has been going strong ever since. The Holy Spirit is so thick here, people can't help but fall to their knees. There are so many awesome speakers lined up for this weekend, I'm so excited! Last night Youth pastor Danny Dillon spoke on expectations, and after the word we had about two more hours of praise and worhship like no other. People, including me, we getting slayed in the Spirit left and right. It was such a genuine and personal experience with God, probably the most fun with Him I have had in a while! Tonight is a Spanish speaking preacher so we will all have English headsets so we can understand. Even though there is a language barrier, when you come into God's presence there is no dividing factor. In our devotions we are studying all of James, and it is aligning with what the speakers are talking about, totally a God thing! In this time of preparation, I feel like God is so pleased that we are here, and doing his work, and showing His love. I can't wait for tonight's service, there is a man who was hit by a car four months ago, and he was supposed to be dead, but miraculously heis living, but still in a lot of trouble medically. Tonight we are bringing him to the session and believing that he will be healed! We won't stop praying until he is healed. Glory a Dios!

  1. Hi Sweetheart,

I am going to assume that you will get this. The computer thinks I am your mom, so when I tried to "sign in" as a blog follower, I got confused about what to do. I remain computer challenged! I apologize that I haven't been in touch sooner. The first several days here I fluctuated between being really busy and incredibly exhausted. The services for "Miss Phyllis" were very nice, and I had some truly special times with her family for which I am grateful. It still seems so strange (and I think it always will) that she is not next door. Waves of emotion hit me at the most unexpected times. This is supposed to be about your trip, though. It sounds like you are having an amazing experience already. I know that the Lord is going to bless and use you in powerful ways through this adventure with Him and His people. One thing I couldn't figure out how to do is look at your photos. Can you give me some hints. I assume that I have to be signed on as a "follower", but like I said the computer thinks I am your mom. I love you very much, and while I know that I am really going to miss you, I am excited to see all that God is going to do. NN

  2. Wynter! Your last THREE posts start with the word, "Wow". Enough said.

I just wanted you to know how happy I am for you that you're having an awesome time and what an encouragement it is for me to see you being blessed so abundantly. I'm not gonna lie-lately I've been getting very anxious and emotional about leaving for so long but seeing you on the "other side" puts my heart at ease. Keep updating us! I love you.
